Fresno, CA - Two Hospitalized After Serious Pedestrian Accident at Van Ness & Clinton Aves

Fresno, CA (February 9, 2021) – Two people were transported to an area medical center in serious condition after a pedestrian accident that occurred at Van Ness Avenue and Clinton Avenue, said troopers with the California Highway Patrol.

The two victims were hospitalized in critical condition on Monday afternoon after they were struck by a van in the Fresno High area. One of the victims, a pedestrian, was pinned under a vehicle after the accident occurred. The crash required the closure of the intersection for several hours and is under investigation by CHP. The victims' identities have not been released at this time.

The accident remains under investigation.
